Irvington Halloween Festival Poster Entry
64th Annual Irvington Halloween Festival Poster Contest Entry
This whimsical and eerie illustration was inspired by the original musical Cabaret Poe, written by actor, composer, and playwright Ben Asaykwee. As a devoted fan of Edgar Allan Poe, I was captivated by the magic of this production—it has since become a personal tradition, with over 20 viewings to date. The poster reflects the playful yet haunting spirit of Cabaret Poe, blending classic Poe elements with a stylized, Halloween-inspired aesthetic that celebrates both the festival and the legacy of one of literature’s most iconic voices.
