Theatre Productions – Show Artwork

Client: Richmond Civic Theatre

These show logos were created for Richmond Civic Theatre’s 2020 season—a season that was ultimately canceled, making these designs part of what I call the “lost season.” Though they were never used, I’ve kept them as a meaningful reminder of a time when theatre was on pause but creativity continued. For this collection, I chose to highlight distinctive costume elements or character accessories as a visual theme, allowing each design to reflect the spirit of its story through a wearable detail. Richmond Civic Theatre has been a vital part of my creative journey for many years, and this set remains close to my heart.

These unused show logos were designed for Richmond Civic Theatre’s 2020 season, which was canceled due to the pandemic. Each design draws inspiration from something the characters wear—bringing personality and storytelling into a single graphic element. Though never officially used, they remain a personal tribute to a beloved theatre and a season that almost was.

This playful logo was created for StageOne’s youth production of The Aristocats Jr., capturing the charm and whimsy of the beloved characters. Designed to appeal to young performers and audiences alike, it reflects the colorful, musical spirit of the show.

Occasionally, I created original artwork as cast gifts, like this piece for Drinking Habits. It also served as the official show art, used in marketing materials for the production—blending humor and style to reflect the play’s spirited tone.
